Spreadin' the Cosmo Cricket Love

Good morning everyone! Are you feeling LUCKY?

We decided that it wasn't fair for just one person to win a Chemistry set because honestly, evey girl should have one! And so, we have picked not one......... not two........ but FIVE lucky winners!!!

But, before we get to that, check out what Cherri House did with our Hey Sugar fabric. Cherri is a quilt designer for Andover. It's kind of funny because after Eric and I had decided to license our artwork through them, Cherri, Eric's cousin, contacted us and said she'd be making our quilt for their trade show. Then, Cherri's daughter, Lizzy, also began designing fabric for them. So, it's kind of like a little family reunion at every textile show. You could say only in Utah.... as the joke goes, but Cherri and Lizzy don't live in Utah and Andover is based out of New York. And, before Andover, I had never met either of them. I guess it's just a small world!

Cherri's quilt she is calling Sugar Snap.

Lizzy's fabric line called Lizzy Dish.

And now, for todays winners, in random order, and everything. Send us your address and we'll send you your prize.
1. Kristina 11:39.
2. Gail C 12:09.
3. Charmaine 5:58.
4. Tonya 11:30.
5. Jody 7:14.

Congratulations. And, for those that are new to our blog you're in for another treat. Today is Wednesday. Loyal followers know that this means Weigh in Wednesday (yes, I stole that from Donna). Anyway, no pounds lost, no pounds gained. Tell us how you did, or leave us some encouragement and you could be our next prize winner.

Thanks for stopping by and check back tomorrow to see if you won!

I wish I could report that I have lost a few pounds but no such luck. I think I need to try a little harder though.

Love that quilt by the way! What an awesome use for the fabric line.

I'd like to say I've lost weight but I guess being 7 months pregnant that would not be appropriate. But, on the upside, somehow I've only managed to gain 10 pounds so far and I eat everything in site. Yeah for pregnancy hormones! Good luck to you, I know what a struggle it is to lose and/or maintain weight.

Oh my! Loving that quilt - I could use it to cover the stray pounds that have made their way back on!
Congrats to everyone who maintained/lost - I put on 1lb ... but I just started some meds that are making me eat like a HORSE - guess I'll have to try harder!

I've neither lost nor gained this week... so as I ate way too much at the weekend I'm really happy about that!

I am here to encourage! Nothing lost - but nothing gained is a win! Be proud!

Stick with it and you will make your goals. I lost 15 lbs last year on WW so I know how difficult it can be. Drink your water and don't skimp on the fruits & veggies! You can do it!

Andrea said...

I may just have to join you...I could stand to loose a good 5 or 15pounds! LOL

Keep it up everyone, this time of year is difficult but I know you can do it!!!

Those colors are sweet and the quilt is beautiful! I've lost 3 lbs since Sept 15th when I stopped having ANYTHING after 8:00 in the evening...not so hard to do and well worth it!!

Jennifer Holmes said...

I gained a pesky little half pound, but I should be happy, considering all the great things I ate last week...lol. Okay, back to getting serious! I'm struggling with all the Halloween candy that's flooded the office already!

Catherine said...

Beautiful quilt. Love Lizzy's fabric line too. No loss, too many parties...must step away from the birthday cake! Hoping for a better weigh in next week.

Dani said...

Well it depends on which part of the day I weigh myself. Haha. Weight is ambiguous anyway. =) Just when I thought I've lost 2 pounds at night...i find out I've gained a pound in the morning!

My school is hosting a Biggest Loser contest - the participants donated $20 and whoever loses the most wins the pot. Well, I've been up and down and I a m down 1/2 a pound.

GothamGal said...

Wonderful job everyone, keep up the good work. I got a Wii fit for my birthday and am happy to say that I'm two pounds lighter. Yay!

Shawninaz said...

No pounds lost or gained. Trying to stay away from that Halloween candy, lol! Good luck everyone.

Angie said...

I lost 1/2 a pound this week. If I hadn't shamelessly pigged out over the weekend I probably would have lost more. ho-hum.

Snouters said...

I woke up on New Year's morning and it suddenly dawned on me that I had gained 15 pounds over the course of 2007. I was determined to lose it and, along with a buddy from work, joined WW. I lost the weight in 3 months and have maintained it since then! I don't think I've ever been so proud of myself :) All you ladies can do it; the hardest part is getting to that point where you decide you want to do something about it. The rest is easy. xoK

Tona said...

Beautiful quilt! I haven't stepped on a scale in a few weeks...now I'm afraid to. I'd be happy with a no gain.

Rachel Greig said...

Your fabric is just gorgeous!

I went to a trade show last week, ate out, too many desserts, you know, cheesecake, chocolate mud cake, sticky date pudding, you name it. What was I thinking??? But I enjoyed every last morsel, and now I'm (not so) enjoying the extra kilo (2 pounds!) on the ol' thighs!! :)

But hey, today is another day!

And your fabric is gorgeous.

RobinDiane said...

The quilt is beautiful and I love those fabrics. I need to get on a plan to lose weight and exercise. You are inspiring to do something. Thanks!!!

maxandmimasmummy said...

I wish had more motivation to lose weight, it just all seems too hard. I'm so thrilled for you that you can see the changes in your body and the numbers the scales tell you. All that hard work will have been worth it. Keep up the fabulous effort.

Lulu said...

I am so upset to say I gained 2lbs. It's totally been emotional eating. I've recently found out I'm lactose intolerant, and pretty sure I have really really bad IBS.. *pout*

I am jumping in a little late on this post but just had to comment on the quilt - it is sooooo adorable. Looking at the adorable fabric and the quilt makes me wish I knew how to quilt. Unfortunately, I didn't lose any weight this week but didn't gain any either.
