Today, I think I'd like to be the one to give away a really big prize. How about Lindsay? To be entered into the drawing for this one, leave a comment about a crazy family member you'll be spending time with this holiday season.
PS: Winner will have to pay shipping and handling....... The handling charge could be a little steep since I think I'll have to higher two large men to stuff him in the box.

Wow that sounds like quite the giveaway!! would love to win that!!
LOL! You are too funny!
My crazy aunt who never has the food prepared on time who's house is a disaster but always insists on dinner there, who wears crazy outfits and drives us all nuts...Good Ol' Thanksgiving.
Funny - yeah - thanksgiving with 5 kids...loud, constant, tiring but loads of fun. Happy Holidays
LOL- Too funny!
I must admit though, I am NOT looking forward to seeing my husband's aunt. She is seriously crazy.
Sure, we'll take him. He can sit by my crazy cousin with the pet rat. (OK, its actually a very small dog, but very rat-like)I am sure they would have lots to talk about.
;)
Oh that will have to be ME! Crazy for christmas! I drive hubby nuts with it! Maybe I should be the one in the shipping box!!!
Only my parents live near us. All the crazy relatives live out of state.Hmmm...maybe that's why we moved Lol
I'll be spending time with my whole family (it's been three years since we've had Christmas together), and my mom and sister are definitely the crazy ones, though we all have a bit of it in us! :)
Hmmmmm if he'll cook and clean and help w/ the kids then I'd love to win!!! *wink*
Haha all my family is crazy - at least according to my DH. We pretty much are but we admit it and family functions are a lot more interesting on my side than on his!!
Unfortunately, my Thanksgiving will be just me. DH will be out of town and everyone is working that day. So, it'll be me and my pets. My dog is a crazy mutt, does that count?? =)
my crazy sis in law is coming with her kids & boyfriend who has been arrested a few times....the kids leave food all over the house, she never helps with any cooking or cleaning, her boyfriend litters the driveway with cigerette butts...and she leaves dirty diapers on the floor in the guest bedroom. Repeat after me...I love my family, I love my family, I love my family :-)
You guys are too funny - this year is Thanksgiving with my Mom's side of the family and they are all a little crazy...
my mom - crazy as they come. :)
Maria
Fabulous giveaway - thanks for the chance!!!
As for crazy family - well, there is just too many to count. We're all a little crazy!! I love'em though - crazy or not!!
Can we have a draw for Jon the Warehouse guy next? :P
wondering if my husband would be a little jealous if I won this giveaway. Might be worth it to try.
I don't know about crazy, but my sister's husband is annoying and does his best to ruin the others holiday.
Actually my sister is a little crazy... but I love to spend christmas with her!!!!!!!!
I try to avoid the crazy relatives...but alas...they always find me. Haha. Then again I wonder if I am the crazy relative?!
My mother, who's 84, is bringing a 'friend' to Thanksgiving. She is being very mysterious about who it is. We suspect it is her new boyfriend from the retirement home. Lindsay, is it you?
I'M THOUSAND OF MILES AWAY FROM HOME/RELATIVES & I'M USUALLY THE CRAZIEST SO I THINK LUCK HAS BEEN ON THEIR SIDE FOR ALMOST 6 YEARS NOW. :p
LOL! You are too funny!
My craziest relative would have to be my brother. He wears a muscle shirt to to every family event. I get it, you work out, now go put on some clothes. :)
LOL...good giveaway Julie!!
I hate when the family members linger at the house too long, there's a point where you NEED TO GO HOME!!
It might be the "out-laws"--we've never really gotten along. I hopefully won't have to go. You could send Lindsay to Nebraska in a heartbeat for my co-worker.
I think I'm the crazy one in our families! :D
LOL, too funny, just make sure a mouse doesn't sneak into the box! ;)
Probably my brother, if he ends up making it to our home. He has a personality that is for sure ALL HIS OWN!
Ah, if it were only that easy to get rid of the "wierd" relatives.
Mine would be my hippy cousin Dennis...he's out there, but hey, aren't we all!
A crazy relative, hmmmm . . . if you ask my family, I am probably the crazy relative THEY will spend the holidays with!!!:) Sounds like quite a giveaway. My mother-in-law is kind of "different" - especially since it is now two days until Thanksgiving and no firm plans yet . . . teaches us patience and flexibility!!!!
Thankfully we don't have thanksgiving here so we only really have Christmas to contend with the crazy relatives. I think if any of them came on this blog they may well say me or my hubby but I'd have to go with my mum who actually forgot to feed my hubby one year (so she says lol) and frequently makes strange comments
great post :) my crazy relative is my bro... he's always cracking jokes at my 84 yr old granny who laughs but doesn't always get the joke.... it's a riot :)
Thanksgiving with our family is always a bit of a circus. My family is small but my sister is the class clown type of person so it is usually a big laugh fest!
LOL! Too funny - not sure DH would approve ... if I win, maybe I could have Mr Lindsay's weight in Cosmo Goodies instead (or just a paper pack - I'm easy to please!)
Ummm crazy relatives ... all of 'em ... I am the only 'normal' one!!!
luckily i will be missing the crazy family this year as it is nit working out for us all to get together.....
but i do work with a bunch of crazy people and will be enjoying a rather fun filled luncheon tomorrow......
does that count?
The only crazy one at our house for thanksgiving is the cat.. why is he crazy? He YOWLS LOUDLY for the turkey then WILL not eat it.. Then he will eat mashed potatoes.. go figure. Crazy cat..
I would love to win Lindsay. I'll keep him in the basement and through in some mice every so often to amuse the kids. That video is still the funniest thing I've seen in a while.
My craziest family member is my Sister-in-law. Seriously I think she needs medication but I can't say anything. She usually comes with her 6 kids and thinks she's on her own private vacation. We are supposed to take care of her kids while she shops and does touristy things. Hello, I have 4 kids of my own, but I would never want my sweet nieces and nephews to think I don't want to take care of them so I do it. We only see her once a year at most.
Wow lovely giveaway! Is he handy in the household?? hahahah I could use a houseboy ;)so i can play more with my papers hahahahaha
I am spending the hollidays with my MIL and her mother ;) they look so alike that they have to argue all the time ;) hahaha and when you tell them they look alike then they start to argue with me and my DB :) hahahahaha
hugs Ria
Does he do dishes?? :)
Well... my DH's family is coming over and they come with some strange superstitions.. sigh. We always seem to end up with 13 people coming to Christmas dinner, and we literally have to invite an extra person, or someone from his family will REFUSE to come. Apparently if 13 people sit down to dinner, one of them will die in the next year. The crazy part is that they are NOT religious, and this all dates back to the "last supper". As a Christian, I obviously know that is nutty. What's a girl to do....
Ahhh! Our whole family is crazy!!!
The apples don't fall far from the tree...HA HA!!!
~~Ann~~
I will admit that my husband will the wild Thanksgiving guest of the day. He is the joker in the family; they guy with the potty talk comments and hilarious laugh. He gets the kids acting up so our house turns into a mini zoo. If it wasn't for him though, it would probably be a very uneventful day...and he cooks a mean Turkey, that's for sure!
Wishing you all a very wonderful Thanksgiving!
Brittany
Well, when my FIL comes over I'm NEVER sure when he'll be LEAVING. Don't get me wrong . . . I get along with him really well, but I just like to know these things. It's fine that he comes over, but equally important is knowing his departure time. My husband just won't ever ask. Oh well!
I think Mr. Lindsay is a great prize to win! I think he's hilarious. However, my husband just got done setting mouse traps in our garage ('tis the season . . . lots of construction not too far away), and I KNOW that Mr. Lindsay doesn't want to be around if any of those traps get filled (I don't like being around if they get filled either!!)
Too funny, how about a trade out, I have a Lindsey here , she is 1 y/o ...maybe we could trade out a few days, Is he self sufficient, because she is not--that would be giving me a prize--or a little break.
Oh and about the family members....they are all crazy...lol
....if they read this then just kidding
I have to spend time with my Uncle Harry. He is more than a little insane. He calls everyone "creep"--it is a weird nickname he gave us all. He laughs like a cartoon character. He always has mini chocolate bars in his pocket (no idea why). He gives the little kids dollars and calls them Canadian flags (??). He is the most entertaining and scary person I have ever met in my life!
Well if I win Lindsay, I know I will be the hit at the holiday paries. Ya know how evryone loves trivia. I'll just put him center stage, then I don't have to entertain.
I guess the whole family is crazy according to my little sisters comment (~~Ann~~) Speak for yourself. Hah!
Not to crazy...unless you consider 2 teens who always fight...that will be mine...Hopefully it will be peaceful!
oh golly trying spending the holidays with the rudest man in the world but yet does not think or realize he is rude! MY DAD!! HE eats like a pig and fast and yet tells everyone else they are over weight! ONe year he had finished eating, (mind you he started before all the food was even on the table and when my mom told him several times to stop, then he kept sneaking when she was not looking) then when the women finally sat down to eat, my dil put the fork to her mouth and he said one pound (no one realized what he was up too) then she took another fork full and he said two pounds! TRUST ME I LET HIM HAVE IT!! I protected my sweet dil!! I think it would be worth the shipping for a prize like that although to be totally truthfull since I am away from hubby (800 miles) since my mom is in the hospital I would rather be shipped in the box back home to N.Y. to spend the holidays at home!! That would kill two birds with one stone! I would be home and I would be away from rude dad! although my mom needs me right now!!!
It would have to be "me" as I drive everyone crazy with taking pictures, even when they are eating. I will most likely take close to 200 pictures on Thanksgiving Day. lol
LOL My dog chewing up all his toys and leaving the stuffing around house drives me crazy. LOL
Crazies! Not in our family! That would be the family next door! ...oh, that's what they said? They're probably right!
I would love to win Lindsay because I think he's crazy and a bunch of fun. Ever taken a class from him -- good times?!? I'd say my mom is the crazy one. She's an awesome cook and we enjoying spending the holiday at her house but she can get a little crazy. Especially when it comes time to make the gravy -- all things have to be perfect and the timing is crucial. Don't get in her way!! She will start yelling and get crazy. Family, gotta love 'em!
Too funny!! If he cooks, cleans, and goes grocery shopping, I can find room in this house for him. Happy Thanksgiving, CC!! *smiles*
I'll take my buddy Lindsay, he's a blast.
Thanksgiving is pretty boring here, since it is just with my Dad and Aunt at Dad's house. My Aunt would be the crazy one of us I think...unless you count getting up and hitting the sales early Friday, then it would be me. My Aunt is so anxious that as soon as I have everything all cleaned up and I am finally able to sit and look at the sale papers she will look at me and say," I am ready to go if you are". Luckily for her I love her dearly.
LOL!!!! I get to spend the holidays with my crazy MIL and I mean it literally, she is cuckoo!!!
haha... send him over! I have a crazy aunt, she's a starving artist, she's been abducted by aliens.. for real.. she has cats.. she once married a guy that she knew for 7 days! he later changed his name to Leonardo Da Vinci... I WIN! TRUE STORY, I do not lie.
our grandma is the best. For easter she hides cans of soda, fruits and eggs with money in them. I am pretty basic when it comes to wardrobe...black...and she insists on bringing colors into my life by each year giving me things like lime green jackets and lavendar sweat suits.
Oh, and she has something she calls monday surprise when she puts whatever is in the fridge into the dish. We get chocolate chips in salad, raisins in stews and tons of garlic in everything. (The kind you get at Costco).
She's the best and we love her to death. We are very grateful for her brightening up our lives.
Happy Thanksgiving!
We're military and family is a bit too far to travel just for Thanksgiving so my "crazy" family member is my DS! He is almost 5.5 y/o and just lost his first tooth! He will tell strangers about his lost tooth, but didn't want to tell any of his friends at school. How crazy is that?!
Hmmm, I'm not worried about the shipping cost, rather the maintenance costs! Grown men eat a lot! Haha!
too funny!!
Holidays are always crazy at my MIL's house with my dh's 6 brothers and alcohol, you never know what will happen next!!!
Crazy family members? I don't have no crazy family members. So it must be me. LOL
My family puts the FUN in Dysfunctional. Seriously, I can't name just ONE crazy family member....I'd love to win this giveaway, as long as he's entertaining ;)
My daughter (who turns 1 on Dec 15) is our crazy family member at the moment. She gets up to plenty of crazy things every day and constantly has us laughing with her attempts to talk to us. :D
OK so are you trying to make me feel better about being single??? I'm mostly avoiding the crazy people - they belong to my sister - she's the married one and I don't have to hang with them...lol...another perk of the single life! I'm sure I will run into some crazy thing this weekend but am not aware of who or when at this point. So maybe I NEED Lindsay more than anyone??? Sher B.
TOO Funny!!
only one crazy family member? unfortunately my whole in-law family is a little nutty!!! and sometimes not in a good way! LOL!
a crazy family member ??? why that's me! I think the rest of them are all pretty sane! I will be spending christmas with my family ... and me, Canadian, we had our thanksgiving in October and it was a wonderful family gathering!!!
Too funny ! - Holidays are always crazy at my parents home - My Aunt who always insists we have canned cranberry sauce - even though I make fresh every year and who insists it would not be Thanksgiving without twinkies - yes twinkies - why I do not know - she crazy.
That would be my nephew Jake. He is odd, he is a little strange but we still love him!
Does Lindsey do windows? I'm with my brothers this year and their families/friends. My hubby is away in Santa Barbara :( Where his mother's house narrowly escaped the wildfires last week. They're doing inventory with the bank before it's too late.
my aunt loves cat. one cat she had was sold and sick, she brought her around in a small carriage wearing a diaper. :)
My brother and his wife are the crazy ones in the family. They always start a fight with someone in the family and ruin the meal.
Lindsay gets the kids to clean their rooms and then tucks them into bed? I WANT him! What a great prize!!
Funny...my sil is the craziest relative I'll be spending time with this holiday season!
Holidays are always to be with family!!!!
Thanks for the giveaway!
