We're Back

Good morning! We had a safe trip back and after sleeping most of the day yesterday, I feel almost like my old self again.

I wanted to post this project by Natasja Verbeek, because Lindsay showed it in a video and gave credit to a fictitious person named Martina...... although he did get the country right. I absolutely love this project. I emailed the photos of my son, Jack, over to Holland where Natasja made this book. She bound it with ribbon for the show and it was a big hit! I'm not sure what she used as the pages, but you could used chipboard, bookboard, old game boards, old book covers, etc.

Many of you want to know which line sold the best. Well, I would tell you if I knew, but it is too close to call. To be honest, we cannot, at this point, even rule out Lil' Men and Everafter. Even when the orders are entered, Lindsay and I will continue the debate until the lines are dead...... and I mean dead, dead, dead. We are still arguing over whether Halfway Cafe will ever be able to sell more than Dutch Girl. I picked Dutch Girl which was number one, but now there is a chance Halfway Cafe could be picked up by another account giving Lindsay his bragging rights two years later.

All your lines are really great, but it's kind of fun to see which ones are picking up more closely on the latest trends.

I used Dutch Girl on my first exploding box, but now I'm doing almost an entire album in Halfway Cafe. For me it depends on subject matter a lot, but I'll always reach for that deep, dark red. :)

Hope you are just super crazy busy with orders for a long time!

But I thought the bet was for what line sold the most at CHA, not forever and ever.

I just might have to get out my Halfway Cafe and come up with a few projects!

That is adorable.

I hope you win the bragging rights this year ;)

Maybe you should think about a time limit ... like, say, the next CHA? :)

Attn Lindsay: the Star Wars gang were at CHA to promote CI's new Star Wars paper line (per Manny at CI,very nice and intelligent young man-he agreed the Clone War releases did not measure up to the original!)Thank you for trying to help.
I have to throw this in, no matter who wins the "bet", Everafter is now my favorite collection of all time. It has actually succeeded in bumping BG's Scarlet Letter (sorry guys) from numero uno place. I keep looking at over and over. Any blogs I go to with sneak peeks and they ask what's your favorite-I tell the Cosmo's Everafter. I think in deference to my advanced years, Eric should remove himself from the competition and Julie should win!

Natasja did an amazing job on this book! WOW! I love it!

Glad you're back!! Declare ALL of the new paper lines the winner! It will just make things easier in the office!?!

I'm still crazy about Girl Friday!! I cannot wait to get my hands on it!!

Last night we got to look through all the catalogs at the store and rate papers for the owner to buy. (I work there) Is the spinner card on the front of your catalog actual size? I would like to start prepping chipboard to make my own album - which I envisioned similar to the cute one of Jack.
I was thrilled to find out that we did not need to rate Cosmo as it was ALL ordered - WOO HOO!

Rita S,

The spinner cards measure 5" square. I'm not sure if the one on the catalog is actual size.

That is cuter than cute. Why can't I ever think to create something so original. Must say, I'll have to lift the idea when I get my hands on some spinners. Welcome home. I am beginning to feel like I know you guys and you're hysterical!
