UHHhhhggggg!!!

The scale did not budge this morning! Could it be my diet? Definitely not, even with Lynette and Lindsay tempting me at the Halfway Cafe (our nickname for the diner by the office) I ate very healthy. I didn't even have popcorn or treats at the movies!! Could it be not drinking enough fluids? No!!! I drink at least 8 cups of water a day, usually more. And yes, I am taking many more trips to the ladies room. Could it be a lack of exercise? Well, maybe. I did skip two workouts last week with the holiday weekend and my anniversary. But, that still means I did four workouts. I was hoping for at least one pound lost! Could two workouts really make that much difference? Have I hit the dreaded plateau? Am I destined to remain at this weight indefinitely? Am I over-reacting? Is there such a thing as over-reacting when it comes to numbers on a scale? Who will the next winner be? Oh, the mysteries of life!!

IMO, I believe that if the #'s are not budging, then it's time to either cut down a tad more, or to add a little more to your exercises. The body gets used to the same thing and eventually does nothing. I would say change a tad of what you're doing and the #'s may fall again.

Ah, don't stress it too much. I'm sure you'll see that scale start dropping again before you know it. At least it wasn't a gain ;)

I'm only down .6 pounds....not very impressive, but at least I didn't gain again like last week!

I'm holding steady, but that's good considering I pigged out this weekend!

Don't stress too much...think of the overall picture and how well you are doing! :) My scale went up a pound...but I know why!! I enjoyed some great festival food on Monday for my birthday! Back on the wagon now....:)

I'm stuck at 10 pounds (with 40 more to go). I did great a few weeks ago and now the scale hasn't moved in 2 weeks. I feel your pain!

I actually lost 4 pounds this week!!!! FINALLY.
Don't stress over the numbers. You have probably gained muscle, which is a good thing.

don't worry about no loss. I am sure that next week will be better.

Girlfriend I understand! You might need to increase the amount of exercise you're doing at one time. Get the faith - the numbers will fall again!

well, at least you didn't gain.
I did all the right things and gained 3 pounds! What's that about!

LOL - sorry you didn't lose any this week but it was a fun read!

I stayed the same, too...sucks - but my reason is easy - lack of exercise! This week I cut out cheese...all of it...and cross my fingers!

thanks again for last weeks prize - it's so yummy!!!

Not moving here either, but I'm still glad it's not climbing the other way. I HAVE to do more exercise but just cannot get motivated. Don't be depressed-surely just a short term plateau!

You could still be adding muscle which would be off setting any weight loss...don't stress on it, just keep doing what you know is right and the results will follow.

keep on trying, your doing so very well so far!!!

Dont worry. The scale is just trying to trick you. This has been another good week for me. Feeling great and looking great too! Plus I bought a pair of jeans in a smaller size and it felt great!

don't forget to be kind to yourself, and it probably is the lack of exercise, just bump it up next week! if I don't exercise consistantly, the # won't come off, no matter how little I eat.

I lost one more pound this week, only by eating the GOOD stuff.

Bet next week you'll see a loss - just keep doing what you're doing, sometimes it's just like that!

Hang in there. ANYTHING could affect it...and i mean anything. I am not down or up so i am in the same boat as you Julie. Remember we are your motivators, are we motivating you enough?

yep, exactly how I'm feeling this week!!! My scale didn't budge either. And I've been watching my diet and exercising. I hate when that happens!!! Maybe we'll both lose 5 lbs next week :) :)

I haven't been playing along because I hurt myself doing girl push-ups! Sad, huh? :) I found a beginners Pilates video that isn't too horribly embarassing to follow along with, and I've been using my stairs as a free exercise machine. Now to take a deep breath and go buy a scale!
Are you weighing once a day or once a week? Don't get discouraged.....you're doing the right things, just stick with it and you'll keep losing! :)

I've lost a pound - wich is not good since im pregnant!

Don't dispair!! Your body has to adjust to what you're doing, and it may take a week off once in a while. But if you continue to stay stuck, shake things up a bit more. If you eat exactly the same # calories every day, or do exactly the same exercise, your body will settle down and not move the number on the scale.

You could be getting more fit and gaining muscle! I don't always let the scale tell me I'm doing well. Do you feel more healthy? is your mind more clear? Are you a "good" sore where you can feel your muscles? Are you sleeping better? Are you feeling better in your clothes?
I AM! but I gained a pound this week...
Keep trucking!

Ahh.. hang in there! At least you did not gain. That feels MUCH worse! I am down another .5lb. I sure wish it was a bigger number, but hey.

Don't stress to much. Think of the pounds you have lost so far.

Nothing lost here. In fact, (GASP) I gained. NOT what I wanted to see on my scale!!

Don't give up!! STick to your weight loss plan and don't get discouraged!

I wouldn't dare step on a scale this week. It was my husband's birthday, it was my nephew's graduation party, it was Labor Day weekend . . . my willpower was missing a little . . . no scale, no way!

You could be acquiring muscle missy!! You look fantastic!!

Yippee Skippee! I lost 3.6 this week! I am so motivated that I hope to do that again next week - Congrats to all of us who stick to it through thick and thin - slow and steady, and don't give up in the no loss weeks!

I'm not going to be able to hit the gym this week sad...that Chick-fil-A I ate is just sitting on my thighs. I just know it!
