As if Posting Your Weight isn't Embarrassing Enough...

When Eric told me that he thought I should do this, I thought, "yeah it will be a little bit embarrassing," but seeing myself, no make-up, hair sticking up all over the place, trying to do push-ups......... girl-push-ups.......... well, I just want you to know we're like family now!

Anyway, you know the drill, post your weight loss and maybe you'll win a prize! I will keep everyone's names, except Maria C from last week, in the box and add all the names from today. So, the longer you stick with us, the better your odds of winning. One more thing, we have lost Maria's address. So if you know her please let her know, or if you are her please resend it so we can mail the prize!

Loved the video!!! You are so inspiring...Am I the first post again this week, yikes. Maybe I should get excercising instead of sitting at the computer. I am 1 lb. down from last week.

I have no upper-body strength either, so I totally feel you on the push-ups!! I did not lose any last week. We had family in town and my son's 4th birthday so I feel like all I did this weekend was eat!! At least I didn't gain anything I guess!!

Loved the video. I am bummed to say I didn't lose anything this week, but that would be because I did not eat healthy this week. I will get my act together this week for sure.

Congrats on the 11 girl push ups! You really are an inspiration. I need to lose over 100 lbs and I think knowing that I can come here is really motivating me to get going. I first weighed myself yesterday at the clinic as I do not have a scale at the moment.

I don't even want to know how many push ups I can do... it wouldn't be pretty! But I am down 1/2 a pound.. not great, but It's in the right direction! :)

This is so great! I just came across the blog after drooling over the products on the Cosmo Cricket website. I have totally been meaning to go on a diet! I want to lose about 9 pounds to a stone, so I'm going to get right on it and check in every Wednesday! (Although I don't have any scales!)

It's a good thing I reread your post, I almost posted my weight! Anyway, I have no upperbody strength either. The last two nights I have taken the dog on a walk to the elementary school across the street. We took a basketball and shot hoops. I am a really bad shot, but I hope it tones my arms a bit. Only 1/2 lb down for me!

Okay I am at 246 now...a little progress. The video was cute!! The only reason I can do push ups (yes, I still cat at this weight) is because i still have triceps back from when I was in the Army and did more pushups than any human should do in a lifetime! Before Basic Training I couldn't even do a girl one. So keep up the good work!! You'll get there. They make your arms look awesome!

I waited 10 minutes at the grocery store to make sure no one was looking, and I have lost 2 and 1/2 boxes-but I've been sick as a dog so it's probably all just the water I sweated off. I'm telling you-you've got to get some free weights. You'll love it. Not only is lifting good for you physically, but I find it very "empowering". I'll be 60 in 2 weeks and my 4 boys brag to everyone about Momma lifting weights. I've found Flogging Molly to be great workout music!

Hey I actually lost a single kilo this week!! so I am 2 pounds down! woohoo! DH has just found out his wieght, and though he carries it better then I, he wants to lose some also, so it is a little 'comp' between us!! thanks for ths inspiration!

OK, I'm sorry, but that's awesome! I can do half of that . . . I have no upper body strength! Way to go! OK, I haven't lost anything, BUT I have kicked the exercise up a notch . . . I took some power walks! Way to go . . . keep it up!!

It's Wednesday already???!!! Where did the time go? Great job with the push ups! I like to do sit ups and try to do 25 in the a.m. and 25 in the p.m. Have lost only 1/2 pound but it is the county fair here and we have been eating out the past 4 days!

You are my hero - Can I start late? I need to lose lots just for my general health and my favoirte food is butter, so - here we go....Yikes - but I want to join in - so today I start at 247 pounds of butter.
I was at Lindsey's class on Saturday (Which was terrific by-the-way) where he said gray was ugly - so, I guess once I lose about 75 pounds of butter I'll also have to do something about my hair!!!!
Now, not only do your products inspire me, but you also... what an awesome company!

What a great video! :) I don't think I could do 1 push-up! :) Okay....my weight was down .6 lbs but I did go walking 3 days this week...that's 3 more than last week! Slow and steady....right?

Congrats on the butter loss. I have lost a bag of chocolate chips since last week (3/4 of a pound)- and have been Wii Fitting 30 minutes each day (well, 30 minutes of the running, walking, boxing or hula hooping every day) and determined to try to add some of the strength exercises too.

Push Ups!!! yikes, I could never do that I have now body strength. But I shouldn't say that I haven't even tried. We have the Wii fit and I was doing it faithfully after we had gotten it but I haven't done it for over a month. I need to do this maybe if I keep posting on this site maybe I can loose some thing. I am very over weight and not happy with my self. Thanks for doing this! I will let you know next week if I have done any thing.

I weigh on Thursday mornings, so I'll post my weight tomorrow! I have been exercising a lot more this week, but I'm not sure that I've been doing as well on the nutrition stuff - slipping a little... so we'll see.

Your girl push-ups rock, Julie! Be proud! (And Eric should be kicked for telling you to go lower - I was pretty impressed at how low you were going!)

Uuuuugh! Push Ups! LOL. I still don't have scales ... but I know I have lost inches ... my clothes are looser this week and I have been prepping my veggie garden for exercise - next week I will get to weigh in too

That reminds me to do some push ups! We are doing a weight loss contest at work that started last week so this will be perfect to track with you! I have only lost .5 pounds so far but I suppose every little bit counts! This week I've been riding my bike to work and trying to ease my way back into running... good luck everyone!

i lost 2lbs this week too! i didnt get any exercise in last week thanks to a really nasy cold. infact, i still havent gotten any exercise in this week thanks to the remains of this cold. grr...

it should be called workout Wednesday! I can only do girl push ups also, and usually 10 or so is my max as well!!! No upper body strength is required in scrapping!! ;)

I don't weigh myself, I go by the fit of my clothing which was getting a little snug.

I know I lost a little. My pants are starting to feel less tight and more comfortable.
