Another Grey Day

We have had so many grey days in Providence that we've almost forgotten what the blue sky looks like. I have decided that my children are going to look in the crayon box for sky grey instead of sky blue. It's been pretty dreary. So, I have a proposal. Leave a comment telling me your favorite "get happy" song. I will gift the first 10 plus the winner's choice from itunes to one lucky person who's name is drawn. You have to post your song to be entered.

I'll start with my favorite, "New Soul" by Yeal Naim.

Others I like are "Everyone's Rooting for You" by Sondre Lerche and, of course, "Hey Julie" by Fountains of Wayne.

I will draw the winner on Monday morning. It will be fun to see the songs everyone likes!

  14. I don't know why but this song always gives me a boost especially when I need inspiration. it is standing outside the fire by garth brooks. I know what you mean about the weather I live in Logan and it seems like we have had all three seasons (summer, spring and winter) all in one week. I am so ready for it to just be warm (not hot) for a while.

  18. If you missed the 10, don't feel bad. You can still win the songs if you're name is drawn. And, I might amend the rules to just be 11 songs of your choice. It occurs to me that you may already have ones listed, or just not prefer some of them. I think it's just been fun to see what everyone likes, and I've been reminded of some great songs that I haven't listened to for too long!

  25. I don't even have an Ipod. I got an MP3 player for Christmas and I am having a heck of a time figuring out how to dowload songs to it so don't enter me in the drawing. Just wanted to send a little bit of sunshine your way and let you know I've been playing with your blackboard gears. I made flowers for a girlie layout and they are quite fun. My daughter went to town with one of the robot shapes and his little face and she thinks it's the best thing since sliced bread. So yes. That one can be the best Cosmo line. For now anyway.....
