DVD Envelopes

After you make you home movies. You might want to give them as gifts to family and friends. Even if you just keep them for yourself, it's fun to have a cute envelope to store them in.

To make your own cd cases, cut a 6x10" rectangle of paper. Score it down the middle at the 5" mark.

On one half (it doesn't matter which, but this will become the back side) you need to cut off a 1/2" strip from the score line all the way down on both sides of the paper. I know this sounds confusing, but it's really simple. What you should have now is a 5"x6" rectangle on one side of the score line and a 5" square on the other side of the score line.

Fold the paper on the score line.

Fold the overhanging 1/2" strips over to the other side and glue down.

If you want, use a circle punch to make a "pull-out" section like mine.

Then just embellish away! I had fun using the "throw-away" parts of the Honey Pie stickers to make my background.

Home Movie

Home Movies can be quite boring usually. But if you keep them really short and add music even complete strangers will enjoy watching them. And it’s another great way to preserve your memories.

Full of Wonder

Here's my littlest guy, Jack. He is turning three in a couple months, but in this photo (taken by my sister, Becky Reed) he was one. He has always been the happiest thing. Every time he sees you, his eyes light up as if to say, "What wonderful thing is going to happen to me next?"

I used Cogsmo (of course) with the blackboard...... I really do love this stuff! The white arrow is a dashed line rub-on (from Cogsmo also) that I added an arrow point and starting circle to with Tim's Inksentials white pen.

People Who Can't Dance

I really don't know why we insist on humiliating ourselves, except that it is fun!

Updates

We got Jon back with a "no-questions-asked" reward. He is super busy in the warehouse, which should keep him out of trouble for at least a little while.

We are working on getting images of the projects shown on air with the TSV. Those projects were sent to CK by mistake. We'll keep you posted. If you send us photos of your TSV projects, I will compile them in our gallery for everyone to share.

Something's Different at Booth 1351

The Booth is all set up and looking good!

Notice the back wall art! These are enlarged versions of the Blackboard shapes from the Get Happy and Cogsmo Collections. But, more importantly, they will make for fun photo's at the end of the show when we are all feeling a bit crazy!

Ahhh, the crowds! Our free paper pads were gone in about 10 minutes! You could say the Cricket was Hoppin'!

It's funny, but even other manufacturers seem to get great ideas in the Cosmo Booth. This is our friend Mark Hillard with Prism Papers.

I wish I could remember what he was looking at! Don't worry Tehawna, it's probably just a scrapbooking layout!
